CHC50113 – Early Childhood Teacher Bridging Program

Transition your career with this advanced qualification designed for registered primary school teachers and gain the specialised skills and knowledge needed to work in early childhood education and care.

Course Information

The successful achievement of this qualification requires you to complete all core and 5 elective units from the list below. Participants will complete 23 of the 28 units of competency. The remaining 5 units are either direct credit transfer from primary teacher qualifications.

You will also be required to undertake 240 hours of vocational placement in an approved setting.

Formal Entry Requirements

To enter this course, you must hold teacher registration and a primary teaching qualification which focuses on children aged 3 to 8 or 5 to 12.

Other Requirements

You will need to apply for a Blue Card (working with children check) for placement – check if you are eligible here

You must have access to a computer with internet, MS Office, PDF reader software and a scanner or mobile with camera capabilities.
