The BSB60420 Advanced Diploma of Leadership & Management is delivered over 52 weeks/12 months face to face which includes 10 units of study.

The face to face training component has been designed to provide students with the key skills and knowledge as a manager while providing you with the expert insights you need to become an effective leader.

You will meet entry requirements for this course if you:

  • Have completed a Diploma or Advanced Diploma from the BSB Training Package (current or superseded equivalent versions).

or

  • Have two years equivalent full-time relevant workplace experience in an operational or leadership role in an enterprise.

Teaching and Delivery Modes for Students

At Educare key objectives are to ensure that the core focus of your learning experience is based on the practical applications of your study. Therefore, we support you by providing learning materials which are utilised during most of the following delivery modes such as:

Face to Face /Class and on the Job Work Placement

The BSB60420 Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management is delivered over 52 weeks face to face which includes 10units of study and may include practical exercises and evaluative tools.

Assessments are completed in the student’s own time and may include practical exercises and evaluative tools.

Online Delivery: Studying online has never been easier or more convenient than through Educare’s LMS portal, students gain access to online learning materials, assessments, case studies, learning tasks, resources, and practice questions, all working to guiding and training the learner to successfully complete the course requirements. You can take each step of your qualification at your own pace and receive online learning support from an Educare trainer.

Corporate Workshops: If you have several people wanting to study the BSB60420 Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management, Educare can develop a program for your organisation including contextualising it to your own business or industry.

Competency-based Assessments

Certain competencies may also be assessed during work placement if required. The assessment is conducted by your assigned Trainer & Assessor from Educare who will evaluate your knowledge, skills and performance against the required workplace criteria to assess your competency in that specific area/unit. Manual Handling will form part of your practical assessment and will be conducted on campus first before your first block of work placement hours.

You will be provided a list of methods you will be assessed with in your Training Plan and Assessment strategy document in your orientation and induction week. Your assessor will address these in more detail during teaching times.

 

Resources Needed

You will have access to our online learning system. You must have your own (laptop) computer with up-to-date software, including Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat Reader and Adobe Flash Player. This equipment and software are required by all students to successfully undertake their study with Educare.
