Boost your COVID-19 awareness with online infection control training for Aged Care and Disability Workers.
The Department of Health in partnership with Aspen Medical, has released a 30–45 minute online training modules to help stop the spread of COVID-19, highly recommended for care workers across all health care settings, including aged care and disability workers, both in a residential and community setting, and is now becoming a work requirement.
The training provides infection prevention and control recommendations for managing patients with suspected or confirmed COVID-19 in healthcare settings. On the first visit, students must register to use the online system and at the end, a Certificate of Acknowledgement will be issued on completion of the training.
There are different modules available and the most recommended one is “Infection Control Training – Covid-19 “, however, we encourage you to complete all the modules relevant to your work.
